Public Event Ticket Policy.
These terms apply to tickets you buy for Lighthearted Kitchen public events — open-seat dinners and similar ticketed experiences hosted by a chef.
Tickets are for a specific date
A public event ticket is for a specific event on a specific date and time. Because of this, tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased, except as described below or where refunds are required by law.
If the event is cancelled or postponed
If the chef or Lighthearted Kitchen cancels an event, you receive a full refund of the ticket price. If an event is postponed, your ticket will be honored for the new date; if you can't attend the new date, you may request a refund.
Changes to the event
Menus, the featured chef, and the venue may occasionally change. Material changes will be communicated to ticket holders. Minor changes to the menu or run-of-show do not entitle you to a refund.
Transfers and resale
Tickets are tied to your account. Contact support@lightheartedkitchen.com if you need to transfer a ticket. Commercial resale of tickets is not permitted.
Attendees, minors, and conduct
You must be at least 18 to purchase a ticket and hold an account. Minors may attend only as guests under the responsibility of the adult purchaser. All attendees are expected to follow our Community Guidelines, including responsible handling of alcohol where served. We may refuse entry or remove anyone for unsafe or abusive behavior.
Lighthearted Kitchen does not sell, supply, or provide alcohol; any alcohol is the responsibility of the host, venue, chef, or licensed vendor, who must comply with all applicable laws and permits. Alcohol may not be included in the booking price unless Lighthearted Kitchen has approved a compliant workflow.
Allergies, dietary needs & media
Public-event menus are fixed; tell us about allergies in advance and we will share them with the chef, but we can't guarantee an allergen-free environment. Events may be photographed or filmed; by attending you may appear in that media.
