We recently had the pleasure of hosting our highly anticipated Coastal Harvest event at the beautiful Bluebird Canyon Farms in Laguna Beach. It was an unforgettable evening filled with farm-to-table delights, intentional conversations, and breathtaking views. We’re thrilled to share the highlights and express our deep appreciation for the hard-working Bluebird Canyon Farms team.
At Lighthearted Kitchen, we’ve always been passionate about supporting local farms and sustainable agriculture. Bluebird Canyon Farms embodies these values with their dedication to organic farming practices and their commitment to bringing nourishing food to the table. We’ve been showcasing their incredible work for a year now, but it was a pleasure to do it again on their land this time.
The evening unfolded as guests arrived, mingled, and enjoyed the picturesque views. From a vibrant shaved pea salad bursting with flavor to a savory Halibut en Papillote that highlighted the essence of the season’s produce, every bite was a testament to the beauty and abundance of sustainable farming.
We were delighted to collaborate with the talented Lisa at Dough and Dirt, who provided her exceptional sourdough bread. The bread and compound butter, lovingly crafted with high-quality ingredients, perfectly complemented the flavors of the evening and added a delightful touch to our farm-to-table experience.
